All across the country, colleges, universities, business partners and public school systems just like ours are joining together to help young people. To be successful, young people must make the most of their education, beginning right now in the tenth grade and continuing all the way through high school graduation and beyond.
Region One ESC GEAR UP: Bridges to the Future Partnership is a long-term project that will support partnership students and families toward a higher education. The GEAR UP staff will devote themselves to planning programs designed to get students excited about school and about their futures, and provide the support necessary for them to do well.
Education beyond high school is absolutely critical for young people today. GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) will help students and families understand how to prepare for admission to a college or university four years from now. |
