The purpose of this competition is to encourage integration of the Technology Applications TEKS into the foundation curriculum to improve student performance. The Student Technology Competition fees may qualify for payment with the following funds:

Categories
- Digital Graphics
- Applying computer technology to create digital artwork.
- Multimedia
- Using technology to integrate multiple types of media, simultaneously, to present or interact with content.
- Desktop Publishing
- The design of a layout to assemble type, graphics, and images to create print media that communicates information.
- Digital Video
- The production of audio and video files stored in a digital format for editing or playback.
Eligibility
All students from public, private and charter schools in K-12 can enter. The top students from each category will be recognized.
Fees
The entry fee is $10 per entrant or $10 per group entry (2 min., 5 students max.). All fees must be sent with each entry envelope.
NOTE: Each entry envelope must have a separate check or a copy of the PO with the total amount & student and/or group name. ***No exceptions.***
Contest Deadlines
All project materials and registrations must reach Region One Technology Department no later than 5:00 PM, January 21, 2008.
