Purpose:  The Region One Education Service Center established the Brownsville Extension Office to meet the growing demand for professional development needs in the southernmost districts in Cameron County.
Goal: The Brownsville Extension Office offers targeted and specific professional development training addressing collaborative and instructional approaches toward the education of diverse learners to include Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners.
Emphasis:  Strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners

The ESC Brownsville Office serves as a liaison to our Region One Edinburg office and provide timely information as well as direct services to our cluster

Region One Brownsville Math Collaborative

Purpose: To build mathematics education leaders through collaboration opportunities reflecting the needs identified by the Texas Education Agency Mathematics Department and Texas Regional Collaborative. 

Goal: To improve pedagogical content knowledge, mathematics content knowledge, and develop mathematics education leaders.
