Coordinated School Health Program
A Systemic Approach to Addressing the Needs of Children

The Texas School Health Network is a collaborative effort of the Texas Department of State Health Services, the Texas Cancer Council, and the Regional Education Service Centers (ESCs), in collaboration with Texas Education Agency.

The CSHP assists schools by providing trainings and technical assistance to facilitate implementation of School Health Advisory Councils, Coordinated School Health Programs, and locating resources and materials on a wide variety of health topics to prevent cancer, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and high risk behaviors.
