    JUST ADDED! The p.a.p.a. (Parenting and Paternity Awareness program) was initially developed by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and has been in use in Texas schools since 1995. The curriculum teaches responsible parenting, the impact of a father's involvement, benefits of stable family relationships on children, and other topics. The p.a.p.a. curriculum supports educators work toward compliance with HB 2176 (80th Legislature) which directs the SBOE to work with the OAG to develop a parenting and paternity awareness program.
