    Integrated Leadership Principal Preparation Program (ILP³)

    If you aspire to be an administrator, the Integrated Leadership Principal Preparation Program (ILP3) is designed for you! ILP³ consists of a two-part training process aimed at helping cohort candidates attain the Principal as Instructional Leader (268) Certificate. First, candidates participate in pre-internship preparation trainings in topics aligned to the State Board for Educator Certification Standards for Principals. Second, candidates complete the internship phase in their current campus assignment with additional administrator responsibilities or as a campus administrator on a probationary certificate.
     
    Our program is aligned to the new Principal Standards and designed to help you gain necessary knowledge, skills, and practice so you may achieve success on the certification assessment.     Option 1: If you already hold a Master's Degree, earn a Principal's Certificate. (Cohort 28 Brochure) 

    Minimum Requirements for Option 1:
    • a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
    • a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
    • a valid Texas Teacher certificate
    • a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a PK-12 setting
    • a minimum of 2 years of school leadership experience

    Option 2 : Earn your Principal's Certificate AND a Master's Degree(Cohort 16M Brochure) 

      
    Minimum Requirements for Option 2:
    • a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
    • a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
    • a valid Texas Teacher certificate
    • a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a PK-12 setting
    • a minimum of 1 year of school leadership experience
    • acceptance into a Walden University Master's program
