Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP)

GEAR UP is a seven-year program of the United States Department of Education designed to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
Region One Education Service Center (ESC) and partners provide services at middle and high schools for a cohort of students beginning no later than the seventh grade and follow the cohort through high school.
