Teacher of the Year - Texas Teacher of the Year is the highest honor that the State of Texas can bestow upon a teacher. Facilitated by the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA), the Texas Teacher of the Year Program annually recognizes and rewards teachers who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in teaching. TOY Application for District Winners ONLY:
NEW PROCESS: District Teacher of the Year (1 Elementary and 1 Secondary winner) must fill out and submit the online application by Thursday, June 6, 2019. Personal (not school district) contact information including email and phone number need to be included on the application. An individual picture of the district teachers of the year should also be uploaded to the online form.

2020 Region One ESC district winners:
District winner(s) is to commit to represent the profession of teaching during their year of reign in:
- At least one event at their campus
- At least one event at their district
- At least one Region wide event (ie., Regional Best practice conference, PEC, CAP, etc.) – regional winners only
Teachers will be required to submit the event names/dates that they participate in.
