Professional Development & Support

  • The following are sessions that are being provided from Region One ESC that Project RISE recommends to partner districts. For all professional development opportunities, be sure to check out and check in to the Professional Development System. Checking in feature is the same as the checking out feature. Hours must be 3 consecutive hours in order to receive stipend incentives for a half-day and 6 hours to be considered a full day, outside of scheduled working hours. We encourage all teachers to register for any PD opportunity.

by Dr. Laura Sheneman Length: 3 hours

The 2019-2020 Virtual Library Cooperative has exciting content you can use for distance learning! We will explore the MackinVIA website, which has single sign-on for most databases and a starter set of regionally shared eBooks! MackinVIA can play a key role in helping you improve your remote classroom instruction. During this session, we will be taking an interactive approach for planning by highlighting specific digital resources for online learning while allowing time for lesson plans and digital platform integration.       Presentation Link
