Early Childhood Education
The Region One Early Childhood Education program helps early childhood educators gain an understanding of the inter-relationships among language acquisition and literacy development. It helps educators develop strategies for working with children with language differences and literacy difficulties. Professional development topics include: high quality settings, classroom set up, learning centers, classroom management, and supportive/responsive interactions for all early childhood students. Sessions may be pre-scheduled in the Professional Development System or delivered at a location requested by the District. There is no cost to attend the Directors' Meetings and pricing for workshops is available upon request.
