    Project Based Learning

    Project Based Learning Overview
What is Project Based Learning or PBL? What does it look like in the classroom. The session will provide an overview of the essential elements of project based learning instruction and provide content-based examples for review. Participants will be placed on a path toward transformational teaching and deep learning for all students.

Project Based Learning - Beginner Series (3 day)
Learn how to craft rigorous projects with a comprehensive, multi-day, learning experience. The session will offer step-by-step guidance and support educators in designing a vision for a project-based experience that is (1) anchored to content standards, (2) promotes 21st century learning, and (3) is personally relevant for all students. Participants develop and leave with executable action plans for a project based learning experience.

Project Based Learning - Advanced Series (2 day)
The advanced learning series includes opportunities for instructional modeling, disaggregation of content examples, grouping strategies, questioning techniques, formative assessment strategies, and much more. Participants develop and leave with refined action plans for project based learning implementation.
