The Project P.a.C.E. program fees include a hybrid model of coursework in standards-based curriculum, mentorship and supervision at a school setting, and ongoing support in many areas of education. Preadmission fees apply during the eligibility and screening phase prior to acceptance into the Project P.a.C.E. program. Upon acceptance, the teacher candidates shall pay an admission fee followed by monthly scheduled installments. The remaining balance is due by the end of your first clinical teaching or internship assignment.
Students in Texas have many choices for education beyond high school. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB 60X30TX) provides leadership and coordination to promote access, affordability, quality, success, and cost efficiency through 60X30TX. The THECB offers low-interest loans for students who are Texas residents. Specifically the College Access Loan (CAL) Program provides alternative education loans to Texas students who are unable to meet cost of attendance. Visit CAL for eligibility requirements and details about how to apply.
Upon eligibility of the CAL program loan, please contact our program staff at (956) 984-6036 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every year, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) submits a list of teacher shortage areas by subject matter and a list of designated low-income schools to the U.S. Department of Education. Teachers with certain types of student loans may qualify for partial loan forgiveness, deferment, or cancellation benefits. Contact a loan servicer for information.
