COVID-19 Supports
-
Region One Education Service Center is continuing to provide quality supports for school systems, leaders, parents, teachers and students during this world-wide health emergency. In the Division of Instructional Leadership, School Improvement and College Readiness our programs have dedicated time and resources to support your school systems. Currently, our program coordinators and directors will conduct weekly meetings with school system program staff to assure that you stay abreast of federal, state and local requirements and we are working diligently to create online content to support your parents, teachers, and students. On each of the program webpages, you will find specific content to support the area of focus.
The Region One ESC Social Studies Department is avaliable to provide any assistance and support you may need. We understand this is a unique and uncertain time, and we will always continue to provide service to your district, students and families. The Social Studies program will be continually working on providing supports to parents, instructional leaders, teachers and students. The support for parents will include grade specific social studies resources and videos for parents and their children. This can assist and supplement at home learning. District level social studies coordinator meetings will be conducted weekly to continue an open line of communciaton and collaboration. In addition, TEKS aligned teacher resources to enhance the design, delivery and assessment practices for at home learning. Please continue to to check the COVID-19 Support page as we will be adding content to our site weekly. We are all in this together and will continue to move foward together!
