  • Certification by Exam through a District - 

    Educators who hold a current valid classroom teaching certificate and bachelor's degree may add health science and trade and industrial education with verified work experience and current licensure when required.  

    Experience and Licensure Verification - 

    A certified administrator at your employing school district must verify experience and licensure that offers the area of certification you are seeking.   

    • Two years of full-time wage-earning work experience within the past ten years.
    • Current licensure, certification, or registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

     

    Statement of Qualifications - 

    Teacher must complete a statement of qualifications (SOQ) and provide current licensure, if required, to our EPP.     

    District Program Supports:  

    Depending on the additional certification a teacher is seeking, district supports may vary.

  • Certification by Exam through Region One ESC - 

    Educators who hold a current valid classroom teaching certificate and bachelor's degree may add health science and trade and industrial education with verified work experience and current licensure when required.

    Region One ESC EPP staff must verify experience and licensure that offers the area of certification you are seeking.   

    • Two years of full-time wage-earning work experience within the past ten years.
    • Current licensure, certification, or registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

    EPP Program Supports:  

    Depending on the additional certification a teacher is seeking, our EPP may provide program supports.  Fees apply:

    • Health Science content coursework
    • Trade and Industrial Education PPR test practice
