Information regarding the 2013-2014 physical fitness assessment has been posted to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Correspondence web page. 2012-2013 Physical Fitness Assessment Data Results
The 2012-2013 physical fitness assessment data results have been posted to the Fitness Data web page. The data posted is aggregated by district, grade, and gender. All identifying information has been removed to protect student privacy. Aggregates with less than five total students are masked. Data is only available for the districts that submitted information. This information does not include TAKS scores, economically disadvantaged indicators, attendance, or disciplinary data. To view the results please visit http://www.tea.state.tx.us/FitnessData.html.Texas Education Code (TEC) §38.101 states that a school district must annually assess the physical fitness of students enrolled in grade three or higher in a course that satisfies the curriculum requirements for physical education under TEC §28.002 (a)(2)(C). With that being said, this includes anyone enrolled in a Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) based course for physical education, or anyone in a substitution for physical education.Health/PE Links:
