• T3iLiteracy ETC focuses on all four key areas of the StaR Chart: Teaching and Learning (TL); Educator Preparation and Development (EP); Leadership, Administration and Instructional Support (L); and Infrastructure for Technology (INF). However, a special focus is directed to the two following focus areas that consistently exhibited the most need from all the participating campus STaR Charts: Teaching and Learning and Educator Preparation and Development. The vision of iLiteracy ETC is to assist all educators (teachers, administrators, librarians, technology and curriculum specialists, and other educators) to attain the Target Tech Level on the Texas STaR Chart.

iLiteracy ETC will change the way teachers teach, offering educators effective ways to reach different types of learners and assess student understanding through multiple means. It will also enhance the relationship between teacher and student. With effective integration of technology into core subject areas, teachers will grow into roles of adviser, content experts, and coaches and help make teaching and learning more meaningful.

The grant support 32 teachers and approximately 2500 students. To accomplish this vision, the grant has, and will continue to provide, sustained staff development and technical support to all T3 campuses in the areas of English Language Arts and Technology Integration.
