Rural Schools CTE Cooperative
- Implementation of high-quality Career and Technical Education programs at each rural/small school district.

Aid with CTE programs of study implementation and industry-based certifications aligned to the program of study.

Support each district and charter school with Perkins application and grant guidelines.

Assistance with the required comprehensive local needs assessment that needs to be updated every 2 years.

Support provided to school staff to assist students with career exploration activities, work-based learning opportunities, and guidance toward CTE programs of study that lead to in-demand and high wage occupations.

Continued development of partnerships and programs that help align workforce needs with talent development in school districts and postsecondary institutions.

Provide support to school systems to meet compliance for CTE funding and the Office of Civil Rights, including personalized aid with CTE website/social media, course catalog, advisory committee, Career and Technical Student Organizations, and special population best practices.
Technical assistance via Zoom and Telephone
Regular technical assistance does not incur a cost. Customized assistance will be assessed based on request.
Regular technical assistance may be provided via zoom and phone. Customized assistance will be face- to-face.
Fee: $5,000 per district

CTE Summer Conference
The Annual Career & Technical Education Summer Conference is open to CTE Educators including Administrators, Guidance and Career Counselors, College Faculty, school system educators, Education Service Center personnel and Teachers in college and career readiness programs. This conference helps school systems fulfill Perkins Grant Requirements.
This conference covers areas such as:
- Workforce and labor market information needed to develop effective CTE programs;
- How to improve the quality and outcomes of Career & Technical Education programs, counseling career pathways, partnerships, and curriculum;
- Introduction of instructional models that integrate academic and Career & Technical Education, effective teaching strategies;
- Showcase innovative products, textbooks, software or equipment for CTE teachers and school personnel;
- Update Programs of Study and developing CTE Endorsements;
- Share best practices of CTE Innovative programs; • Various breakout sessions are available and vendors display their products and services.
CTE Updates and Best Practices
This training is an opportunity for Career and Technical Education instructors to receive updates regarding CTE. This course provides a review of the Approved Statewide Programs of Study, Regional Programs of Study, Approved Industry-Based Certifications for Accountability, Industry-Based Participants receive files used in the training as well as Certification Resources, and Teacher Resources. documents presented.
