In a remarkable display of community service and innovation, Mission High School librarians Margie Longoria and Terri Lincoln have been nominated for this month’s Innovative Library Recognition Award for their impactful project, "Keira's Closet”, a hygiene closet housed in the school library.   

“Keira’s Closet” was originally launched last year as a Community Service project by student and Eagle Scout Keira Garza.  This closet serves as a private, safe space where students in need can access essential hygiene items, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment in the campus library. 

This Request for Proposal  allows the Region One Education Service Center and its Library and Instructional Resources Cooperative members the opportunity to contract with qualified vendors for their library, STEM and technology goods and services.
