Project L³ Goal

Create a K-12^th grade pipeline of effective American History, Civics, Government, and Geography Educators to increase ALL students’ academic outcomes, graduation rates and college enrollment through:

·         Targeted training and Master’s cadre

·         Colloquia, annual themes, and Summer institutes

·         Study trips, seminars, ongoing education and follow-up

Project L³ Objectives

Objective 1: Increase teachers’ knowledge in American History, Civics, Government, and Geography content by providing access and exposure to in-depth training/professional learning through innovative services, activities, rich content, student centered and digital teaching strategies;

Objective 2: Increase student achievement in American History, Civics, Government, and Geography each year of the project through the creation of a rigorous inclusive classroom climate that promotes digital/ technology integration, critical thinking and citizenship.
