Region One Education Service Center (ESC) is dedicated to supporting educational excellence in its region. One critical aspect of this support is ensuring that substitute teachers are equipped with the necessary skills to maintain instructional continuity in the absence of regular teachers. Our Purpose
The Substitute Teacher Certification Academy aims to address the challenges associated with teacher absences by providing comprehensive training to prospective substitute teachers. Through this initiative, Region One ESC endeavors to enhance the quality of instruction delivered in classrooms during teacher absences, thereby contributing to improved student performance.
Our Process
The Substitute Teacher Certification Academy will be implemented through a series of workshops, seminars, and online modules accessible to prospective substitute teachers. These training opportunities will be facilitated by experienced educators, administrators, and instructional specialists with expertise in substitute teacher preparation and classroom management.
Our Goal
To improve student performance when a substitute teacher is in the classroom by improving teaching skills and school environment.
